PIJ Texting is the SMS feature of the Personal Intelligence Journal, a private journaling application that runs locally on its owner's computer. It is operated by an individual as a personal project. The program sends the application's owner reminders they created, an optional daily check-in message, replies to messages the owner sends, and occasional notices that new content is waiting in the application. The owner may also text notes to the number to have them saved into their own journal.
This is a personal, single-recipient program. The only recipient is the owner of the application, at their own mobile number. No marketing, promotional, or commercial messages are sent, and no messages are sent to anyone else.
The owner opts in by entering their own mobile number in the Texting section of the application's Settings and switching the feature on. No messages are sent before that switch is enabled. This in-application setting is the only way to opt in; there is no web form, purchased list, or third-party sign-up.
Message frequency varies and depends on which features the owner has enabled and how many reminders they have created. The application enforces a daily message cap, set to 25 messages per day by default.
Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by the recipient's mobile carrier under their own plan.
Reply STOP to any message to cancel and stop all further messages. A confirmation message will be sent, after which no further messages will be delivered. Messaging can also be disabled at any time from the Texting section of the application's Settings.

Delivery is supported on major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and their affiliates and resellers. Carrier support may change without notice.
Message delivery depends on the recipient's mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. This program is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, for personal use.
